Nadine Denneth is a social entrepreneur who is passionate about waking people up to the ways we can help ourselves stay well ‘outside’ of medicalised intervention. She supported her father in his journey with Bipolar Disorder and is now using that experience to empower others.
Nadine is the Founder of N.ableD CIC (pronounced ‘enabled’) – a social enterprise supporting people to take back control of their physical and mental health after a debilitating illness, injury or hospitalisation using exercise and nutritional therapy. The idea behind N.ableD was based on Nadine’s own experiences of seeing the physical and mental decline of her father after he was over medicated during a hospital stay, which eventually lead to him having to move into nursing home care at just 59.
Nadine is a firm believer in prevention being better than cure when it comes to realising long-lasting good health and has recently started public speaking as a way to share her personal story with others.
Nadine thinks good nutrition, exercise and learning to live in the present moment, are some of the best tools we have to manage our mental and physical health.
